ROBERT MURDOCK

The first time Robert saw The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show, he knew a career in music was his destiny. By the age of 7, he began taking guitar, bass and piano lessons. At age 13, Robert formed his first band. Today, aside from his busy performance schedule with The British Invasion Tribute, Robert co-writes songs with guitarist, Lee Scott Howard. Together, they compose songs for film, television and the band!

As a session vocalist, bassist and guitarist, Robert has worked extensively with many notable producers including: 'Plinky' Giglio (Glen Burtnick/Styx), David Prater (Firehouse), Franke Previte (Dirty Dancing Movie Soundtrack) and John Rollo (Kinks, Paul Young). He was selected by ASCAP as one of only twenty-five songwriters from over 500 applicants and invited to attend a recent ASCAP Songwriting Seminar in New York City. Robert has also received other songwriting accolades, including five consecutive awards in as many years in recent nationwide Billboard Song Contests.

Robert's music is most influenced by: The Beatles, Bryan Adams and The Rolling Stones. He has shared the stage with the likes of: Tommy James, Glen Burtnick, Eddie and The Cruisers, John Eddie and Leon Russell, to name a few!
